SEPTEMBER IS HERE, AND OUR 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR IS IN FULL SWING

Greetings, SEES families, new and familiar — and welcome to what will be another wonderful school year! We hope that you all had a relaxing summer, even though we are quite sure it went much faster than our students had hoped!

The SEES faculty has been hard at work preparing for what will be an awesome year. Our Home & School Association (HSA) has also put together an excellent lineup of events this year. Our Inaugural Eagles Golf Classic Tournament will take place on September 26, 2016. We hope you can join us for a great day of golf, fun and fellowship!

Each year we focus on a school theme, which bolsters our school mission and reminds our faculty, staff, students, and community to make each day a masterpiece. This year’s theme, “do small things with great love,” is a quote by Mother Teresa; simple words with great purpose. Mother Teresa embodied love, kindness, and humility. In this statement, we find challenge to recognize the opportunity that we, as teachers and as parents have, to nurture and develop the 489 masterpieces that walk our halls, fill our classrooms and warm our homes each and every day. We know that together we can help our students continue to grow this year in academics, in character and in faith!
