Ambassador Family Picnic
(August) This picnic, held a few days before the first day of school, is a perfect opportunity for new families to get together with their assigned ambassadors, teachers, and other new families.
Book Day
(August) Students return refreshed from summer break, ready to meet their new teachers, get their books for the school year, and bring in their school supplies. Parents also come along to meet the teachers on Book Day.
Back to School Night for Parents
(September) An evening set aside for parents to meet their children’s teachers and other parents in the class. This is an informational night when teachers talk about the upcoming school year to the parents of children in their classes. There is also a short welcome presentation by the principal.
Eagles Classic Golf Tournament
(September) A day of golf, fellowship and fun! Tournament entry includes lunch and post-tournament reception.
5K Eagle Challenge
(October) Open to the public, this Saturday morning 5K draws many walkers and runners. Prizes are awarded to the top finishers. A short distance Eagle Fun Run is held for the younger kids after the 5K.
Fall Festival
(October) This family fun event is an evening filled with great food and plenty of activities for the kids.
Grandparents Luncheon
(November) An event not to be missed, over 400 grandparents attend this pre-Thanksgiving celebration. A perfect luncheon with good food, great company, and entertainment by SEES students.
Family Dinner Nights
The H.S.A. sponsors Family Dinner Nights and parents volunteer to plan, organize, and serve the dinners. The entire SEES community is invited for dinner and mingling.
Advent Reflection
(December) The 8th grade portrays the Christmas story in this solemn evening prayer service at St. Edward the Confessor Church. The SEES choir and students lead the community in song, prayer, and reflection.
Secret Santa Christmas Shop
(December) Everyone loves to shop this unique collection of gifts! SEES middle school students act as elves and assist younger shoppers with finding affordable gifts for those on their Christmas lists.
Book Fair
(January) Our school library benefits from the sales of the annual book fair. There’s a wide variety of books for kids and adults to choose from! The Book Fair is usually held the same evening as a Family Dinner Night.
Open House during Catholic Schools Week
(January) An invitation to families considering SEES to come by for a visit and meet some members of the SEES community.
6th Grade Pancake Breakfast
(February) As a way to raise money for their outreach project, the 6th grade class holds a pancake breakfast before the school day begins. Parents pitch in and flip flapjacks while many families enjoy a hot breakfast on a cold winter morning.
Talent Show
(January) A variety show highlighting the many talented SEES students is held during Catholic Schools Week for the SEES community.
Annual Auction
(February or March) A themed gala evening with fine food, live music and a silent and live auction.
Music & Arts Spring Festival
(May) This evening event starts with a musical revue featuring SEES students and is followed by a stroll through the halls of SEES to marvel at the art work created by the students.
First Communion Celebration and Brunch
(May) This special weekday morning liturgy is for SEES students who have recently received their First Communion. Afterwards, families host a brunch for the first communion participants and their families.
8th Grade Awards Ceremony and Luncheon
(June) Held a few days before graduation, parents of 8th graders gather for an Awards Ceremony to recognize student achievements. Afterwards, a celebratory luncheon is hosted by the 7th grade families for the soon-to-be graduates and their parents.
