The Maher Haircut Challenge is back for the 8th time! SEES will be raising money to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Richmond. Mr. Maher has not had his hair cut in a year!

PRIZES:
• Each homeroom that raises $500 or more will win a popsicle party.
• The homeroom in JK through 4th that raises the most money will also win a pizza party.
• The homeroom in 5th-8th that raises the most money will also win a pizza party AND the grand prize of shaving Mr. Maher’s head in whichever style that they choose. The more embarrassing, the better!

You can get all the details and check out some of Mr. Maher’s previous cuts in his letter to families. The deadline to donate is Thursday, May 19.

The annual May Crowning is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18.

All students will gather on the blacktop at 9:15 for a short prayer, followed by a procession ending at the statue of Mary near the parish office. Parents may attend. Students must be dressed in school uniform, with the exception of 8th graders who may wear Spring church clothes.

We ask that each student bring a flower to lay at the foot of the statue.
