Attention SEES 3rd-8th grade families!

Is your son or daughter looking for a fun way to serve their church and school community? If so, we would love to have them join our altar serving team!

Andrew McCarthy (youth minister at St. Edward) will be holding a training for new altar servers on Tuesday, May 14 at 8:00 am. If your student is interested in becoming an altar server, please sign them up for this training by clicking the button above. A list of students attending this training will be shared with homeroom teachers so students will not be marked tardy or absent, and they will return to class as soon as the training is over (before classes head to Mass).

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10 and the theme this year will be: “SEES Teachers Mean the World to Us!”

The week will include special treats/activities each day for our teachers to help them feel appreciated for all that they do for our children! We have two opportunities for parents to volunteer:

1. We will be providing teachers with the gift of time and will be covering their lunch duties for the week! (They are beyond excited!!!) Please sign up to help out and BONUS- you’ll get to see your child and their friends at lunch! What fun! (Pre-K parents will cover recess duty!)

2. We will also stock the teacher’s lounge with paper products, drinks, and snacks. I know our teachers will greatly appreciate this to help them get through the end of the school year!

Monday 5/6: Make a Card Monday and Breakfast Provided by the HSA
Tuesday 5/7: Take a Sweet Treat Tuesday and Lounge Restock
Wednesday 5/8: Wear your Spirit Wednesday (FREE School Spirit Wear/Colors) and Bring a School Supply to your Teachers
Thursday 5/9: Thankful Thursday Lunch Duty Coverage (ALL WEEK!)
11-11:30 PreK *recess duty (4 parents)
11:15-11:35 5th and 6th grade (2 parents)
11:35-12 7th and 8th grade (2 parents)
12-12:25 3rd and 4th grade (2 parents)
12-12:30 Kindergarten (4 parents- 2 per class)
