Our Faculty Lighthouse Team has been working hard to prepare for another wonderful school year here at SEES!
We are excited to inform you that teachers will kick off the 2018-2019 school year with The Leader in Me First 8 Days program. The first eight days of school are the perfect time for our teachers to work with our students to set expectations, create positive relationships, and establish a culture of leadership within our classrooms, our common spaces and our sanctuary. Each day is organized around one of the 7 Habits, with the last day focused on the 8th Habit, Find Your Voice. Learning about each day’s habit is woven into the types of foundational activities we normally do at the beginning of school, such as getting to know students. writing a classroom mission statement, and establishing classroom routines. Your child will bring home an information sheet each day so that you can all synergize in learning/reviewing the Habits!
