Update on the 27th Gala and Auction
Date Posted: Saturday, 11th April 2020

With the closure of schools for the remainder of the academic year, it will come as no surprise that we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 27th Annual Gala & Auction. While we are not yet in a position where we are able to choose a new date, our goal is to still offer a live, in-person auction experience, where we can gather together and celebrate the accomplishments of our wonderful school & and the community that surrounds us.

For those who have already purchased tickets, committed to sponsorships, and/or donated items to either the event or to a grade-level gift, our hope is to keep everything in place so that when we are ready to move forward, the countless hours and hard work put in by our volunteers doesn’t need to be revisited. However, if any of your purchases and/or donations present a financial hardship to you or your family, please reach out to Abby McDonald (contact info below) directly to arrange for a refund to your original method of payment.

We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from the Diocese of Richmond, public health officials and government agencies so we can move forward with selecting a new date just as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you can still visit the auction website at https://seesgala2020.givesmart.com for information and/or updates. If you have any questions about the Auction or other fundraising, please contact Abby McDonald, Director of Advancement at amcdonald@seeschool.com or 804-833-8881 (cell).

Way of the Cross Presented by SEES 8th Grade Class
Date Posted: Thursday, 9th April 2020

It is a SEES tradition for the 8th Grade Class to present the Living Stations of the Cross in the church sanctuary on Holy Thursday. We could not gather together in person this year, but our 8th Graders crafted and narrated a beautiful virtual presentation of the Way of the Cross that was shared with the school community this morning.
