SEES is excited to welcome back its annual “Olympic Games” competition! This year’s event will be held across two days – June 1-2, 2021.

Students in grades 5th-8th will be divided into teams and compete in five different sports. Students in all other grades will be the designated cheering section for the teams and will come out to watch and cheer on our competitors!

This event will take place completely outside on our campus and while we will not be able to have spectators at this year’s games, we can have and will need 50 volunteers for each of the four-hour competition blocks. Volunteers may sign up for multiple blocks and will be assigned upon arrival to any number of positions, including timekeepers, referees, snack table staff, water cooler monitor, DJ, ambassador of fun, equipment staff, etc.

Field Day is right around the corner and Mrs. Moran is in need of 24 volunteers to ensure our students have a safe and fun-filled Field Day. Field Day is Thursday, May 27 from 9:15-11:15 am. Mrs. Moran is asking all volunteers to meet her in the back parking lot at 9:00 am, so she can show them where each station is located and give a quick review. Please check in with the front office first, so your temperature can be taken and the front office is aware of who is volunteering.

A description of each station can be found HERE. Please take a moment to read each description, so you are aware of what station you will be in charge of and how each game is played. The main role of each volunteer is to stress safety, making sure each student is playing by the rules and displaying good sportsmanship, and most importantly having fun!
