Second grade is heading a school-wide collection of nonperishable items for the St. Edward food pantry during Lent. The St. Edward food pantry serves not only our own church community, but also Sacred Heart Center and Bainbridge Community Ministry, and they are very much in need of donations this time of year. We are asking for everyone to bring in two items each Tuesday (or just one if that’s easier!). Students will walk their items over and place them outside of the food pantry each week as we attend Mass. At this time, we are requesting the following items:

March 11: RICE & DRIED BEANS
March 18: SOUPS & CANNED FRUIT
March 25: CEREAL & BOXED MILK
APRIL 1: COOKING OIL, TORTILLAS OR A PACKAGED SWEET TREAT
APRIL 8: PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY
APRIL 15: TOOTHBRUSHES & TOOTHPASTE, OR A SALTY SNACK

DISCOVERY CAMP REGISTRATION

Registration is open for SEES Discovery Camp 2024 through May 9, 2025! Join us for two weeks of learning, adventure and excitement! Camp will run from 9:00am until 3:00pm Monday – Friday.

Week #1 June 9-13
3 Field Trips: Park 360, Richmond Metro Zoo and Swimming at the Pocahontas Pool

Week #2 June 16 – 20
3 Field Trips: Movies, Maymont Park and Swimming at the Pocahontas Pool

*Summer Discovery Camp is offered to SEES students and to parishioners of St. Edward Church.
