Holiday Helper “Stuff the Truck” Toy Drive Ends December 9
Date Posted: Tuesday, 30th November 2021The Holiday Helper “Stuff the Truck” toy drive ends on Thursday, 12/9/21. We are encouraging students to bring in “new” toys during this time. Please bring them in to their homeroom teacher. The best toys/gifts are ones that your own children would enjoy. Our goal is to fill a U-Haul sized truck with toys that will be delivered on Friday the 10th.Items they are in need of include:
• Toys for boys and girls ages 0-2 years old
• Toys for boys and girls ages 7-12 years old
Holiday Helper Outreach: This outreach supports the Holiday Helper Association located at Fort Lee. This outreach supports military members and provides an opportunity for them to select Christmas/Holiday gifts for their children. There is no “overhead” (it is entirely volunteer based), and all donations go directly to our service members. Our school is considered a Gold Level sponsor and we have contributed an amazing amount to this outreach over the years, both in funds and gifts. In the past, we have taken groups of middle school students to Fort Lee to see the result of their efforts, and they were truly inspired not only by what they were able to do, but also what our service men/women do for them.
